Burmese cats originally come from Thailand. Its name in Thai means “fortunate, beautiful and of splendid appearance”. It was initially kept in the palaces and temples. It was introduced to Burma in the 18th century.

Burmese cat care

Burmese cats are fine, short and have a silky shine. They need minimal grooming and do not shed much. In order to remove dead hairs from coats and keep it looking lustrous, you have to groom your cat with a rubber brush once a week. Mostly keepers use a rubber curry comb which is beneficial in distributing oils in the skin. If you want your pet to have an extra shine in their silky coats, you can also add a coat polish. Look for a hygienic environment where they raise and breed their little.
